Alice Mitchell

Alice Elizabeth (Orr) Mitchell, age 69, a resident of Waco, Texas, passed away Wednesday at home with her loving husband of 48 years by her side. Alice was born in San Antonio, Texas, she was raised in an Air Force family.  She was a graduate of Richfield High School and retired from the VA hospital in Waco . She was a member of the St Louis Catholic Church.  Alice met the love of her life and married in 1972 in Waco at her parents house. She was a devoted Army wife traveling by her husband's side until he retired and they settled in Waco.  Alice was preceded in death by her parents, Donald And Dorothy Orr, and by her son, William L Mitchell, Jr in 2001.    She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Donna Handley and Julia Merritt and  her brother, Donald Orr, Jr.

She is survived by her loving and devoted husband, William L. Mitchell of Waco, Texas; and her daughter and son-in-law, Natasha and Ben Scott of Waco and her pride and joy granddaughter, Jessica Franco of Waco, Texas.

Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Friday, November 20, 2020 at Waco Memorial Park with Pastor Aryn Mojica officiating.
