Beryl Greer Henry

Mrs. Beryl Greer Henry, 93, of Waco passed away Saturday, December 28, 2024. A graveside service will be Thursday, January 2, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Waco Memorial Park with Bro. Michael Raines officiating. 

Beryl was born in Dallas, Texas on December 22, 1931. She graduated from Baylor University where she met her husband of 66 years, James W. "Jim" Henry. They were married on April 17, 1954. 

Beryl and Jim were very active musically in Waco, Jim as a choir director in Waco schools and Beryl as an organist for several churches in the area. After Jim retired in 1995, they moved to Kenosha, Wisconsin to be close to their daughter, Sherry. Jim sadly passed away October 22, 2020. 

Beryl was a loving wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to many. She is survived by her daughter, Sherry Henry Kujala of Evanston, IL; son, David G. Henry and wife, Priscilla of Waco;as well as her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Phillip Greer and Bessie Julia Pillsbury Greer; her husband, Jim Henry; and most recently her son-in-law, Walfrid Kujala.
