Betty Walters

Betty Jean Walters, 76, passed away Monday, August 22, 2022, at a local hospital. A graveside service will be held at 9:30AM, Thursday, August 25, 2022, at Waco Memorial Park.

She was born on May 29, 1946, in Waco, Texas to Fred and Irene (Hromadka) Krizan. She grew up in Bellmead and graduated from La Vega High School. She married Darrel Walters in 1971 in Waco, and they were happily married for 51 years. Betty was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and devoted homemaker.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband, Darrel; sons, Gary Kinsey and wife, Rebecca and Darrel Ray Walters and wife Jennifer; sister, Doris Lane and husband, Jimmy; grandsons, Garrett and Austin Kinsey; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
