Billie Earl Blansit Sr., 80, of McGregor, TX passed away Thursday, November 30, 2017.
A visitation will be held Tuesday, December 5, 2017 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 6, 2017 in the Mausoleum Chapel at Waco Memorial Park.
Bill was born in Moody, TX to Charles C. (Bud) Blansit and Minnie Elizabeth Hicks. Graduated from Moody High School in 1959. Upon graduation he enlisted in the US Army where he was stationed in Germany and served active duty from March 1955 to 1963. Billie married his first wife, Bertha Lanelle Poole in 1966 and had two sets of twins.
He is proceeded in death by the love his life Jenelle Blansit, his last wife Lucy Blansit and twin gransons Rick and Ricky Marmino, Jamie Michelle Marmino, brothers James Robert Blansit, Buddy W. Blansit Sr., son Jason Blansit.
He is survived by his children; twins, Billene Simmons and Earlene Wiese, second set of twins, Nellene Blansit and Billie Earl Blansit Jr.; step-daughter Jinny Lynn Moohan; sister Johnnie C. Doty and husband, Clifford; nephew, Luke Doty; grand-children; Kevin Marmino, Patricia Ordones, Anna Ordones, Chris Ordones Jr., Mallory Ordones, Bobby Neal Marmino, David Earl Simmons, Dale Wayne Blansit, Bubba Dewayne Wiese and eleven great-grandchildren.
“Paw Paw” as he was referred to by his grandchildren loved fishing, hunting, playing dominos and bingo. He loved his dogs; Rocket, Little Bit and Bullet. Bill was a wonderful husband, father, son, grandfather, brother, great-grandfather and cousin. He was a selfless man who always put others before himself. He will be remembered for his kindness, graciousness and empathy. May God guide his loving soul on his journey to eternal life.
