Billy Roe Gonce

Billy Roe Gonce, 84, of Bellmead, Texas passed away peacefully after a brief illness on March 23, 2024.

Billy was born February 8, 1940, in West, Texas. He graduated from West High School and served in the US Army for 2 years. He then worked at Tom Padgitt’s store in Waco until he retired.

Billy was preceded in death by his parents, Milford and Callie Gonce and his sister, Jeanette Markum.

He is survived by his wife, Frances Gonce of Bellmead; sisters, Gwen Mashek of Hewitt and Joyce Eastwood of Canton; brother, Wilburn Gonce and wife, Evelyn of Northcrest; daughters, Cindy Hobby of West, Cathy Kinsey and husband, Alvin of Bellmead, and Shannon Scott and husband, David of China Spring; granddaughters Ashley Kinsey (Juan Chairez) of Bellmead and Kaitlyn Scott of China Spring; grandson, Aric Kinsey of Bellmead; 5 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Billy cherished spending time with family and friends and especially enjoyed watching football and Texas Rangers Baseball.

We will cherish the beautiful memories of Billy and he will be missed by all that knew him.
