A visitation to honor Bobby's life will take place at 11:00am, Thursday, March 21, 2024 at Waco Memorial Funeral Home, in Robinson, TX. Following this, a funeral service will be held to celebrate his legacy and bid him farewell. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park.
Bobby was born March 31, 1944 to Allie and Spence Dickey, in Charleston, Mississippi. His life was a testament to kindness, faith, and hard work. Throughout his life, Bobby wore many hats with grace and dedication. His career as a pastor touched countless lives, offering solace and guidance to all who sought his wisdom. Beyond his spiritual calling, Bobby's diverse skills as a jack-of-all-trades were admired by those who knew him. From helping friends with home repairs to sharing his knowledge generously, Bobby's willingness to lend a hand knew no bounds.
Those who had the privilege of knowing Bobby will remember him for his warm smile, compassionate heart, and unwavering strength. His legacy of love and service will continue through the lives he touched. He was a loving husband, devoted father, respected pastor, and a true jack-of-all-trades.
Bobby Holmes Dickey is survived by his loving wife, Belinda Dickey; devoted daughter, Jacque Dickey; adopted son, Julian West; and stepson, Michael Watson. In their time of bereavement, may they find comfort in the memories they shared with Bobby and the lessons he imparted.
