Charles Copeland, Jr.

Charles Copeland Jr, 72, of Waco passed away Wednesday, January 7, 2024. A celebration of life service will be held Friday, March 8, 2024, at 11:00 am at Waco Memorial Park Mausoleum.

Charles was born on December 20, 1951, to Chuck and Shirley (Gifford) Copeland. Charles graduated from Waco High School in 1970.  He owned Copeland’s Appliance for many years and then retired from Waco Tribune Herald after 25 years of service.

Charles was preceded in death by his father, Chuck Copeland, mother Shirley Gifford Copeland, and his sister Linda Copeland Wilkerson, and husband Tom.

Charles is survived by his son, Trey Copeland, and wife Jerrida; daughter, Tammy Copeland Alvarado, and husband Michael; brother, Jack Copeland, and wife Doris; granddaughter, Courtney Escobedo; granddaughter, Reagan Perez; grandson, Trey D Copeland; granddaughter, Harleigh Stringer;;granddaughter, Rylei Fuentes; numerous great grandchildren; and special friend Sharon Fronterhouse.
