Christine Ybarra

On July 7th at 6:30p.m. our beloved, Christine Ybarra 63, passed away.   She was escorted by Christ the King where the celebration started immediately.  She passed peacefully and comforted by her loving family at her side until the very end. She is preceded in death by her parents Pablo & Lilly Olivarez and brother, David Olivarez.

Christine is survived by her loving husband Mike Ybarra and their children, son Miguel Christopher Ybarra and partner Andrea Sais, daughter Jessica and husband Eric Zapata, her siblings Mario Olivarez and wife Maria, Susie Dominguez, Angie Garcia, Delia Davilla and husband Marshall, Pablo Olivarez Jr. and wife Joyce, Olga Garcia and husband Norris, Erasmo (Mo) Olivarez and wife Cecilia, Robert Olivarez and wife Lisa, Diane Huerta and husband Manuel, and Rubine Olivarez and wife Marcela.

Pallbearers will be Eric Zapata, Noah Zapata,  Chris Ybarra, Christian Ybarra, Marcus Davilla and Brandon Olivarez.
Christine married the love of her life, Mike Ybarra, on September 6 , 1975. They had the joy of raising two children, Christopher and Jessica Ybarra. She was blessed with 6 grandchildren. Eric Zapata, Noah Zapata, Miguel Ybarra, Christian Ybarra, Julius Rivera and Olivia Ybarra. Also 2 great- grandchildren, Kingston & Kamri.

Christine found joy in cooking, dancing, music, and being the life of the party. She was an amazing cook and interior decorator.

The family will be receiving visitors from 5:00 to 7:00 pm, Thursday, July 09, 2020 in the Mausoleum Chapel at Waco Memorial Park.

A graveside service will follow at 10:00 am, Friday, July 10, 2020 at Waco Memorial Park, officiated by David Cozart.
