Claudia Ann Schlemmer

Claudia Ann Langford Schlemmer, 81, of Acworth, Georgia passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2025. Claudia was born on February 24,1943 in Hillsboro, Texas to Jessamine and Harry Langford. She attended and graduated from Taylor High School in 1961. After taking courses from a business school in Austin, she went to work for South-western Bell Telephone Company in the fall of 1961 where she worked in the Engineering Drafting Department. Claudia was promoted and trained to become an Engineer for Outside Plant Operations. She worked all over Central Texas for the remainder of her 38 years of service. During these years, she met and married James "Jim" Schlemmer. After retiring, she and Jim worked in the antique business, buying, selling and repairing all sorts of items. She specialized in antique linens and glassware.

Claudia was preceded in death by her husband, Jim, and her parents, Jessamine Hunt and Harry Thomas Langford. She is survived by her sister, Ginny Langford Autian, nephew John Zaker Autian and wife Jennifer and a great nephew Tyler Christian Autian.
