Clifford V. Halstead

Clifford Vincent Halstead passed away peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, June 18, 2023.

“Well done, good and faithful servant!” Matthew 25:23

Clifford was born on February 17, 1941, in Houston, TX to Maurine and Clifford Halstead Sr. He grew up in Corpus Christi, TX. He was drafted in the Army in 1963 and proudly served his country in Vietnam. Upon his honorable discharge, he moved back to Houston, where he became a successful owner of an office equipment and computer business. When he retired, he moved to Clifton, TX, to be near his son.

Clifford is survived by his wife Susan Rose of 54 years and his son, Vincent Sean Halstead of Waco. He was a beloved husband and father and shared a very close relationship with his son. He was a devote Christian man who honored God and his family. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and many dear friends.

Clifford is preceded in death by his parents, Clifford And Maurine Simpson Halstead and sisters, Dorothy Burkett, Bettye Ann Bartlett, Carolyn Benson and Rosemary Curry.
