Darnell Tutor

Darnell Edith Tutor, 88, of Temple, Texas passed away, March 09, 2020, peacefully with her son by her side.

Services will be held, March 16, 2020 at 2:30PM in the Mausoleum Chapel at Waco Memorial Park, officiated by Alan Tutor.

She was born on February 07, 1932 in Mertens, Texas to Julius and Selma Piel.

As a young girl, she loved to play softball and was a great bowler.

She was married to Ray Van Tutor, they were blessed with three sons.

Darnell loved her husband and family deeply.

She loved her country and western music,

and was known to be a wonderful cook.

Everyone complimented her beautiful handwriting.

Darnell passed away on March 9, 2020 with her son by her side.

She was preceded in death by both parents, Julius and Selma;

her beloved husband, Ray Van Tutor; sons, Stevan Tutor and Terry Tutor.

Darnell is survived by; son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Frances Tutor of Rogers;

daughter-in-law, Beatrice Tutor of Temple; grandchildren, Steve Tutor of Salado,

Jennifer Nunez of Fort Worth, Katie Strychalski of Poteet;

great-grandchildren, Bri, Lexi, Camdyn and Braydon and brother, Laverne "Tick" Piel.
