Deborah Jean Mueck

Deborah Jean Mueck, known as Debbie or DJ, a beloved sister, aunt, and friend passed away at the age of 69 on Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at her home in Robinson, Texas.

Debbie was born on October 16, 1954 in Waco, Texas to parents Albert and Marjorie Mueck. She was a graduate of Midway High School, Class of ’73. After earning her degree at MCC, she went to work at Texas Coffin Company for several years and then to M & M Mars, from where she retired. She had so many good friends that were like family to her. Her church family was important to her and she enjoyed seeing them, but eventually she became homebound which made that difficult. Debbie loved the outdoors, loved to go hunting, or just spend time working in her yard.

Debbie is survived by her sister, Nancy and husband Keith Green. She loved her nephews, T.J. Green and wife, Laci and Kevin Green and wife, Lauren. Their children, Caleb, Emma, Brinley, and Lainey were an important part of her life. She also leaves behind her dog, Sadie, who is missing her so much.

Services will be Thursday, September 19, 2024, with visitation to begin at 10am and service at 11am. Interment will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Everyone is welcome to stay for food and fellowship after services in the Waco Memorial Reception Center.

Serving as pallbearers are Keith Green, Kevin Green, T.J. Green, and Caleb Green. As we say goodbye, we carry her memory with us (whatever that may be) for the time we spent together.
