Destiny Chava Adams,14, of West, Texas was born in Waco, Texas on March 16th 2010. She passed from this Life on March 27th, 2024.
Destiny was preceded in death by her great grandfather, Kenneth Ratliff; her uncle, Justin Ratliff and her grandfather, Blair Adams; along with several cousins.
Destiny is survived by her mother, Jennifer Smith and husband, Jesse of West, Texas; father, Jeremy Adams and wife, Melanie of Waco, Texas; sisters, Regina, Amanda and Abigail along with numerous grandparents, great grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Destiny battled her whole life with a rare disease called neurofibromatosis that caused her many afflictions including brain tumors, blindness and excruciating chronic pain to name just a few. Destiny never complained and always had a smile on her face. She was the type of person that was more worried about those around her than she was for herself. She was a walking “dad joke” encyclopedia and could pull a joke out of nowhere on the spur of the moment for any circumstance. Destiny had a lifelong dream of going to Harvard Law school with a goal of being a federal judge. To try to name all of the wonders and joys that she brought to our lives would be impossible but she was loved by all who knew her and will be dearly missed.
