Donald Wayne Grossman, 71, passed away at his home on Friday, January 24, 2025. Donald was born on August 26, 1953, in Waco, Texas, son of the late Walter Grossman and mother, Lucille Grossman.
Donald was preceded in death by his father, Walter Grossman, and brother-in-law, Ron Chism.
Donald is survived by wife, Phyllis, daughter Ricci, son-in-law Jason, and two grandchildren, Laurel and Henry, of Robinson, Texas.
Donald, a loving husband and father, was born to parents Walter and Lucille Grossman on August 26, 1953, in Waco, Texas. He attended Robinson Schools, graduating from Robinson High School in 1971. In March of 1975, Donald married Phyllis Fielder. Donald worked for CertainTeed Plastics, bought out by Westlake Chemical, and finally retired in January 2023. After 48 years of employment, Don retired and dedicated his time to his family. In his retirement, Don cared for his grandchildren after school and on school holidays. Laurel and Henry were so happy to have the extra time with their Pawpaw.
A Celebration of Donald’s life will be held at Waco Memorial Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at 1:00 PM. His nephew, Jason Chism, will help celebrate Donald's life with music. Dr. Cary Killough, will officiate the service. Burial will follow in the Waco Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation is Tuesday, January 28, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Waco Memorial Funeral Home.
Jason Clepper, Larry Grossman, James Grossman, Mike Eskew, Mike Adams, and David Milligan will serve as pallbearers.
The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude for the love and support shown during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
