Doris Jean Johnson

Doris Jean Johnson, age 94, went to be with her Lord and Savior on January 15th, 2025. She was born to John and Annie Kent on December 1st, 1930 in Waco, Texas. She was married to Floy Johnson for 61 years. Doris worked for Owens-Illinois Glass Plant for 30 years before retiring in 1985.

She is predeceased by her parents, her husband, 4 sisters, 3 brothers, her son, Michael Johnson and her grandson, Michael Keith Finch.

Doris is survived by her son, James Paul Johnson and wife, Perri; her daughter, Brenda Smith and James Smith; grandchildren, Julie, Misty, Katie, Austin, Robert, Michel, and Nomie; as well as 12 great grandchildren. She loved them all dearly.

Her favorite hobbies were crocheting and sewing. She loved to go out to eat and as well as cooking large holiday meals for her family and friends. Doris never met a stranger and welcomed everyone into her home. She was loved and will be missed by many.
