Edith Nelson

Edith Florence Nelson, 83, of China Spring, Texas passed away on Monday, January 13, 2020.

The family will be receiving visitors at 11:00 o’clock am, in the Mausoleum Chapel at Waco Memorial Park. Funeral services for Ms. Edith will begin at 12:00 o’clock pm, officiated by Pastor George Brock, interment will follow in Waco Memorial Park.

Edith was born on March 12, 1936 to Florence and Helmer Jerde in Dawson, Minnesota.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Florence and Helmer; one sister, seven brothers; and loving husband, Donald Roy Nelson of 45 years.

Left to cherish her memory, sisters, Shirley Vonderharr, Pat Liebl, Barb Prestagard and Kathy Venalia; brother, Jim Jerde; sons, Jon Nelson and wife, Kathy, Dan Nelson and Tim Nelson; daughter, Susan Nelson; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
