Edna Bell, 80, passed away October 17, 2022, at A Place Called Home in Orange, Texas. A graveside service will be held 3 PM, October 22, 2022, at Waco Memorial Park, 6623 South Interstate 35, in Robinson.
She was born July 2, 1942, in Arkansas, to Tommy and Mary Hornbeck Manning. Edna married James T. Bell, Sr., in 1962 in Dallas and they were happily married for 51 years.
Edna was preceded in death by her husband James T. Bell, Sr.; parents, Tommy and Mary Manning; son, James T. Bell, Jr.; stepfather, Albert Taylor; and siblings, Marion Sanders Di Filippo, Dorothy Manning Ratliff, Roger Manning, Marjorie Manning Owens, and Margaret Manning Crofford.
Edna is survived by her son, Michael Bell and wife, Valerie; brother, Albert Taylor Jr.; grandchildren, Michael Bell and wife, Destiny and Gabriela Bell; great-grandchildren, Hailie and Colton Bell; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to Orange First Church of the Nazarene Youth Group, 3810 Martin Luther King Jr Dr, Orange, Tx 77632.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Brittni Briggs of Hospice Plus and Jamie Smith of A Place Called Home.
