Floyd Lee Hightower, a resident of Waco, Texas, passed away on the 6th day of September 2024, at the age of 84. Floyd was born on October 17, 1939, in Dallas, Texas to Dale V. Hightower and Vickie Louise Robotti. He was a graduate of Irving High School in Irving, Texas. He was married to Patricia Ann Schultz for 63 years. 

He was the founder, and CEO of The Outdoor Connection located in Hewitt, Texas. Floyd was an avid hunter and gun enthusiast. His passion for hunting took him on many adventures worldwide. He was a proud member of the Dallas Safari Club. He also competed in many shooting competitions. His passion for sporting guns directly led to his highly successful career developing quality hunting accessories. 

Floyd was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife Patricia Hightower, daughter, Kimberly Hightower and son Davin Hightower. He will also be missed by his grandchildren, Keaton and Laine Hightower, his sister, Rosedale Acevedo, and many other family members and friends. 

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, October 11, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. with a reception to follow, at Waco Memorial Funeral Home in Waco, Texas.
