Gary Manges

Axtell, Texas

Gary L. Manges, age 68, a resident of Axtell, Texas, passed away Friday evening in a local hospital.   Gary had lived in Axtell for the past 31 years.  He had worked for Waco Ready Mix for 25 years and more recently for the Young Brothers as a cement truck driver.  Gary had been a Volunteer with the Fire Department in Axtell and attended the Grace Gospel Church in Axtell.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Snodgrass Manges in 2007 and a grandson, Christopher John London in 2004.   He was also preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Marguerite Manges; sister, Deborah Sue Norris, and brother, Paul Manges, Jr.

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, William and Mary Harper of Leroy, TX; and daughter and son-in-law, Bobbie Jo & Chris London of Robinson, TX; four grandchildren; Hayven London, Thomas Harper, Addison London and Carson London; and sister and brother-in-law, Rhetta and Charles Pickens of Bosqueville, TX and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Friday, January 29, 2021 at Waco Memorial Mausoleum Chapel.   Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, January 30, 2021 at Axtell Cemetery, Axtell, TX.
