Jackie Wayne Stowe
Jackie Wayne Stowe, born August 25,1934 in Olney Texas to Jack Stowe and Willie B. Stowe, passed on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at his home in Weslaco. Funeral services will be Friday, March 31, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Waco Memorial Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the service. He will be laid to rest following services at Waco Memorial Park in the mausoleum.
Jack worked for ExxonMobil in Humble for 27 years and retired in 1991. He lived in Waco, Texas for many years before moving to the RGV to Weslaco. He loved to fish and hunt and tried RV traveling for a short while. He loved working in his yard and enjoyed some beautiful plants. He also took up bird watching from his porch, as his favorite were the Green Jays.
Jack was preceded in death by his first wife, Carolyn Stowe and 2nd wife Susie Stowe. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Jiggs Stowe, Robert Stowe; half-brother, R.V. Bowden, Jr.; and half-sister, Betty Davis (Sissy).
He is survived by his current wife, Maria Gonzalez Stowe in Weslaco; daughter, Debbie Stowe Smith and husband Marvin; son, Ricky Stowe and wife, Tina; stepdaughter, Veronica Garcia and husband, Leo; nine grandchildren, Tiffany Pritchard, Aaron Stowe, Jacqueline Rose, Jason Stowe, Virginia Rodriquez, Victoria Rodriguez, Ivan Rodriguez, Naysa Stowe, and Veronika Garcia; seven great-grandchildren, Kennedy, Mckenlee, Preston, Emerson, Hayden, Harper and Emery; two great great-grandchildren, Brody and Bradyn; nephew, Jesse Gonzalez and wife, Fran from Weslaco; and half-brother, Charles (Bub) Bowden of Wichita Falls.
Quite a legacy he left behind!
