James Roy Killough, 81, a longtime resident of Waco, died Saturday in a local hospital. Mr. Killough was born December 31, 1939 to Thomas Leroy Killough and Carrie Bess (Lansford) Killough. On November 25, 1957, he married Barbara Webb and they had briefly lived in Austin, Texas before moving back to Waco. Until he retired, he had worked for Fleetwood Mobile Homes where he was sent to repair problems that had occurred after purchase. He loved to fish and spend time with his family. He was preceded in death by his mother and father; a brother, Charles; and 2 sisters, Joan and Lavone.
Mr. Killough is survived by his wife of 63 years, Barbara of Waco; daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Bobby Saulters of Speegleville, TX; daughter, Vicki Alexander of Bosqueville, TX; son and daughter-in-law, James, Jr and Mandi Killough of China Springs, TX.
He is also survived by his 9 Grandchildren: Bobbie King and her fiancé, Troy; Jennifer Bailey and husband, Joe; Wendy Richards and husband, Johnnie; Cody Saulters and fiancé, Kristen; Amanda Symank and fiancé, Daniel; Christopher Alexander and fiancé, Jess; Colton Killough; Kolby Killough and Tori Killough. He also has 15 Great Grandchildren and 4 Great Great Grandchildren and Several Nieces and Nephews.
Visitation will be from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Waco Memorial Mausoleum Chapel on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 with Graveside Services following at 3:00 PM at Waco Memorial Park with Pastor Landon Collard officiating. Pallbearers will be Cody Saulters, Christopher Alexander, Spencer Marek, Lance Marek, Haydn Bailey, Logan Saulters, Colby Killough and Colton Killough.
