James Washington

James A. "Bobo" Washington was born on November 22, 1938 to the late Mr. James "Goodie" Washington. Bobo was a member of Greater Ebenezer Baptist Church. He served in the military from 1955-1982 from which he retired as an officer. He received many military accommodations during his time in service. Bobo passed Nov. 16, 2017 at VA William F. Courtney surrounded by love. Mr. Washington is proceeded in death by his father Mr. James "Goodie" Washington, his uncles Mr. Johnny Washington, Mr. Curtis Washington, his aunt Mrs. Willie Cooper Ford, and his daughter Colette "Coley" Washington. Surviving family includes sisters Mrs. Betty Nye (Waco, Tx), Ms. Geneva Phillips (Los Angeles, Ca), daughters Ms. Deidre Washington (Austin, Tx), Ms. Matesia Berkley (Waco, Tx), sons Kevin Washington (Waco, Tx), James Washington III (Fayetteville, Nc), 16 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Saturday November 25, 2017 at 11am followed by funeral services with full military honors at 1pm at Waco Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel, interment will follow at Waco Memorial Park.
