Janet Marie Pomarico, 86, of Waco, Texas passed away peacefully in her home on November 23rd surrounded by family.
Janet was born on June 27, 1936, to Ralph & Ruth Colgan Pendleton in Beacon, New York. Janet graduated from Beacon High School in 1954, where she met the love of her life, Robert Pomarico.
In 1956, Janet and Robert married and went on to have 2 children, Marijane McMullen and Helen Pomarico.
When Janet’s children were young, the phrase “stay-at-home-mom” didn’t exist. Janet was an exceptional wife and mother. She cared deeply for her family. She did this not out of obligation, but because of who she was.

Janet loved her family dearly. Her children and grandchildren were the light of her life and her relationship with her sister was cherished. She was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, colleague, and friend. She touched the lives of so many people. She will truly be missed and will never, ever, be forgotten.
Janet was predeceased by her mother and father, Ralph and Ruth Pendleton, and sister and brother-in-law Barbara and Donald Seeley. She is survived by her husband, Robert Pomarico, daughter, and son in law, Marijane and Nathan McMullen, daughter, Helen Pomarico, 8 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren.
