Jerry L. Grisham, Jr., 47, passed away unexpectedly but peacefully on September 20, 2024.
Jerry was born April 26, 1977 in Bremerton, Washington to parents Jerry L. Grisham, Sr. and Patricia (Tindall) McNeil. Jerry was a man of few words, but was always ready to offer assistance to anyone who needed help. He worked tirelessly for his family and his community. He supported his children in their academic and athletic endeavors, and felt blessed to be able to help coach two of them. Jerry was a private man, but was a known figure throughout the elementary school where his wife, Dali, worked as a music teacher, and also known to the girls' grade level classmates. He had developed a strong devotion to the Lord, becoming a deacon at his home church, Community Missionary Baptist Church, and guiding his family in the direction of Christ's word.
Jerry was preceded in death by his beloved great grandparents, Norman Faye and Daisy Bell (Cook) Mosley of Axtell; grandfather, Billy Dean Grisham of Waco; and father-in-law, Freddie DeBose of Waco.
He is survived by his loving wife, Dali (DeBose) Grisham; son, Ian Baker; daughters, Laynie Grisham, Julia Grisham, Ava Grisham, and Sophia Grisham; parents, Jerry L. Grisham, Sr. (Robin) and Patricia (Tindall) McNeil (Joe); brothers, Kenny Grisham (Christy), Jed Guthrie (Amanda); sister, Ashely (Grisham) Shelton (Brian); grandmother, Jo Ann (Mosley) Grisham; mother-in-law, Chun DeBose; and a host of much loved nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
