Joaquin Banda, Jr (Kikin)

Joaquin Banda Jr. age 67, a resident of Waco, Tx. passed away Monday evening in a local hospital surrounded by his family. Joaquin lived the majority of his life in the Waco area, although he was born in Brownsville, Tx. He previously had worked several years as a maintenance man for Motel 6, as well as a custodian for W.I.S.D. The most important thing to Joaquin was family. He cherished all the family gatherings, and reminded everyone family is all we got! He definitely is going to be missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents Joaquin & Manuela Banda, his son Anthony Banda.

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Adam & Sarah Banda; son, Joaquin Banda  lll; daughter Kathy Banda; son Diego Banda; step daughter, Bianca Nixon. Six grandchildren; Kiara, Bailey, Elijah, Anthony, Athem & Merci Banda. Three sisters; Eva Vasquez, Gracie Garza, Gloria Trevino and six brothers; Oscar, Martin, Cenobio, Francisco, Pedro & Rene Banda. Several nieces and nephews that he loved as his own...
