Joe Dennis Cisneros

Joe Dennis Cisneros, 60, of Waco passed away at his home on Friday, September 8, 2023.  Graveside services will be Friday, September 15, 2023 at 10am at Waco Memorial Park with Deacon Richard Menchaca officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, September 14 from 6pm to 8pm with the Rosary to be recited at 7pm in the chapel of Waco Memorial Funeral Home.

Joe was born June 29, 1963 in Waco, Texas to Joe Desiderio and Mary Martinez Cisneros. He attended schools in Waco, graduating from Midway High School.  He attended McLennan Community College for 1 ½ Years studying Criminal Justice.  Joe worked for McDonald’s as a cook for short time.  He volunteered at Hillcrest Hospital Day Surgery Clinic where he made many friends.

He enjoyed listening to music, especially the 70’s and 80’s style country music. Joe also liked to play tennis.  He enjoyed playing Chess and belonged to a Chess Tournament group.

Joe was preceded in death by his father, Joe Desiderio Cisneros; grandparents, Antonio & Juanita Martinez; aunts, Guadalupe Hernandez, Josephine Ramirez, and Betty Castanon; as well as uncles, Jesse Ramirez and Jesse Castanon.

He leaves behind his mother, Mary Cisneros; aunts, Mary Lou Pesina and Esther Gonzales; uncles, Pete Martinez and Roman Gonzales; and numerous cousins.

Pallbearers will be:  Adam Ramirez, Daniel Ramirez, Santos Suarez, Mark Trevino, and Fred Koenig.
