Johnny Siepert

Johnny Christ Siepert, 88, passed away peacefully Wednesday, November 22, 2023. A graveside service will be Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Chapel Hill Memorial Park with retired Pastor, Lindsey Burns officiating. Visitation will precede the service at 12:30.

Johnny was born June 22, 1935 in Clifton, Texas to the late Adolph and Hulda (Kind) Siepert. He attended schools in Waco and went to work as a tile contractor, later starting his own business, Siepert Tile, and worked until his retirement at age 62.

On June 6, 1957 he married Martha “Sue” Fleming. Sue was instrumental in building his tile business. She kept the books and helped keep everything on track. Together Johnny and Sue raised three daughters, Valerie, Paula, and Cindy.

Johnny enjoyed tending his garden and sharing his vegetables with friends and family. He also liked to go dancing, fishing and loved watching football, especially the Dallas Cowboys.

Johnny was preceded in death by his parents; loving wife, Sue; brothers, Arnold and Leo; and sisters, Viola, Laura, Mardell “Pip” and Dorothy “Dot”; special friend, Doris Ferrill, as well as many friends that he missed so much.

He is survived by his daughters, Valerie Adamek and husband, Paul, Paula Bernard and husband, Durel, and Cindy Jackson and husband, Leon; grandchildren, Nicholas Phelps and wife, Briton, Heather Nathan and husband, Marco, Ross Russell and wife, Lora, Josh Rucky and wife, Emily, Travis Jackson and Alyssa Rucky; great grandchildren, Delia Russell, Jacob Nathan, and Shane Russell and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Nicholas Phelps, Heather Nathan, Ross Russell, Josh Rucky, Alyssa Rucky and Marco Nathan. Travis Jackson will be Honorary Pallbearer.
