Joyce Morse

Joyce Morse passed with peace and grace on April 11th. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Jesse Ray Morse; her parents, Arthur and Daisy Littleton; her sister Gloria (Glo) Martin; and her sister Constance (Connie) Spruce. Joyce is survived by her daughter Elizabeth (Betsy) Sherry and husband Bill (Dooney) of Garland; daughter Lori Morse-Jallo of Waco; granddaughter Amanda Woods and husband Gary, and their children, Cody, Andrew and Bradley; granddaughter Allison Hillis and husband Patrick, and their children, Rylie, Levi and Garret; grandson William (Billy) Sherry, and his son, Bentley; granddaughter Krista Morse, and her son, Jesse; grandson Brant Morse; grandson Addison Jallo; and granddaughter Emerald Jallo. She is also survived by her sister Lucille McMahan; brother-in-law Gene Spruce; brother Harry (Butch) Littleton and his wife, Henrietta; and many nieces and nephews.

Joyce was born in Waxahachie but raised in West.  She graduated from West ISD and North Texas State University respectively and shortly after moved to Waco with her husband to begin her career as an elementary teacher at Connally ISD. She will be always remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and friend whose greatest passion was helping others with absolutely the warmest of smiles.

Visitation for Joyce will be held in the Mausoleum Chapel at Waco Memorial Park, from 7:00-9:00 pm, Friday, April 20, 2018. Her service will also be held at the Mausoleum Chapel at Waco Memorial Park, at 2:00 pm, Saturday, April 21, 2018.
