A gathering, for those who wish to attend, will be held at The Coffee Shop in McGregor after the service. Parties attending will be responsible for their own tickets.
Judy was born on July 21st, 1947 in McGregor, Texas to Lawrence William Bourassa and Edith Estelle Bourassa. She attended school in McGregor. She Married Vernon L. Coplen on August 29, 1964, and they had two children. They divorced in 1997. She married Gerald Taft in 2001, and they were married until his death in 2010. Judy was a homemaker her entire life, and she dedicated her life to raising her two sons, Vernon and Brian.
Judy enjoyed all kinds of crafting and painting. She loved to put together 5000 piece puzzles and play hidden object games on her computer. She loved all 15 of her grandkids, Deanie, William, Hayley, Tyler, Tristian, Austan, Elizabeth, Aeryn, Brooklyn, Kyle, and Cade, James, Lacey, Emily, Brenden, and her new 3 month old great grandbaby, Kinsley Grace. She was fierce, headstrong, feisty, and full of spunk, all the way up until her final days. She will be dearly missed by all of those who knew her and shared memories with her.
