Judy Carolyn Murison, 74, of Hewitt, Texas, died Thursday, January 21, 2021 at her home due to a long and hard fought battle with illness. Born on May 9, 1946, Denver, Colorado to parents Jack and Pauline West, her young childhood place of residence was Evergreen (Indian Hills), Co. while her teen years were in Littleton, Co. She attended Abraham Lincoln High School, Littleton, Co. where she met her husband to be and three years later became a military wife and traveled extensively throughout the United States and overseas to duty assignments for the next 22 years of active Air Force military service. She enjoyed travelling to the Rocky Mountains annually for summer long vacations and enjoyed numerous stints at casinos where slot machines were her choice of entertainment and the occasional jackpot kept her spirits high. She is survived by spouse, John Murison; daughters, Annette Marie Echevarria, Robin Ann Meador, Christine Cara Groce; Grandchildren, Mark Echevarria, Sara Olvera, Gloria Echevarria, Anthony Echevarria, Angelina Spiares, Jessica Spiares, Jaime Rodriguez, Dacota Babcock, Syerra Anderton, Miranda Groce; Great Grandchildren, Aiden Rodriguez, Asher Rodriguez, Summer Mc Collaum, Autumn Mc Collaum, Dahlia Olvera, James Fisher; sister, Jeannie Wilson; and her brother Paul West.
Visitation will be from 3PM to 5PM Thursday, January 28, 2021 at the Mausoleum Chapel at Waco Memorial Park Cemetery (come as you are, casual dress) and burial (no graveside memorial service) at 10AM Friday, January 29, 2021 at the Veterans section of Waco Memorial Park Cemetery.
