Kathryn Louise Gillum

Kathryn Louise Gillum, 83, of Bellmead, Texas went home to be with the Lord on Friday, September 22, 2023. Visitation will be from 6 to 8pm on Thursday, September 28, 2023 at Waco Memorial Funeral Home. Graveside service will be at 10am Friday, September 29, 2023 at Waco Memorial Park.

Kathryn was preceded in death by her husband, Hughie Gillum and grandson, Dustin Pace, both of Bellmead; parents, Orion and Florence Davison of Alamosa, Colorado; and sister, Carolyn Johnston of Albuquerque, New Mexico.

She is survived by her daughter, Debbie Pace and husband, Tim of Mansfield; son, Mark Thomas and wife, Sheryl of Bellmead; granddaughter, Kacey Tate of Mansfield; grandsons, Josh Pace and wife, Mandy of Robinson, Ted Thomas of Austin, and Trevor Thomas and wife, Robyn of San Antonio; great grandchildren, Kylie Rae Cox of Mansfield and Ethan and Logan Pace of Robinson.

Kathryn cherished spending time with her family and friends and especially enjoyed going out to eat and shopping. She loved working in her yard and was known for her beautiful holiday decorations.

Kathryn was a kind soul with a beautiful heart and had a zest for enjoying the beauty in life.

We will cherish the beautiful memories of Kathryn and she will be missed by all that knew her.
