Larry Wayne Justiss

Larry Wayne Justiss passed away Friday, February 7, 2025 at the age of 77. Services will be Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at 11am in the chapel of Waco Memorial Funeral Home.

Larry was born March 4, 1947 in Abbott, Texas to Elmo James Justiss and Margaret Juanita Harmon. He attended Abbott Schools and later went to driving school receiving a CDL and beginning a lifelong journey of driving big trucks from state to state, seeing the world from a truckers’ view. He had a passion for life and outdoors, he enjoyed camping, fishing, long rides through the country, spending time with family and watching a good western.

Larry is preceded in death by his parents, Elmo Justiss and Margaret Harmon Cox; his dad, Morris Dean Cox, his son, Calvin Roberts; and the love of his life, Linda Roberts.

Survivors include his son, Ronnie Justiss and wife, Ida; daughter, Tina Roberts and husband, David; daughter, Shawn Fort; son, Larry Justiss and wife, Amy; sisters, Peggy Cox and Jenny Cox and husband, Ron; brother, Bobby Cox and wife, Lynn; and many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and longtime partner, Rose.
