Linda was born on April 29, 1949, in Stillwater, Oklahoma, to Joe Bailey Chitwood Jr. and Pauline Ann Gunn. She attended and graduated from Abilene High School in 1967. She later called Hewitt and Woodway Texas her home for 46 years.
Linda was a loving mother to her children, Stacy VanDuivendyk and husband Erik, Page Hanna and husband Phil, Bryan Padgett and wife Abbey, and Shane Padgett and wife Morgan. She is also survived by her sister JoAnn Moore and husband Jackie, and John Chitwood and wife Melanie.
