Lovonia Lue Langston

September 30, 1940 — February 28, 2019

Pete passed away after a long battle of 11 years with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis.

She was the daughter of William Franklin Fipps and Millie Hutchins Fipps born in Brownsboro Texas.  She attended school in Brownsboro and later moved to Amarillo and attended Amarillo High School.

She met and married Jimmy L Langston in Amarillo and moved to Waco in 1958. Her and Jimmy moved to South Bosque in 1965 and then to Lorena in 1980.

Pete was an avid bowler from the early 1970’s until 2002 when she had to quit due to back injury. She served as League President and Secretary of several bowling leagues and served one year as Director with WWBA.

Her and Jimmy attended Cedar Valley Baptist church and have many fond memories.

Pete retired from Potter and Son Roofing Company in 2001 where she was office manager for 22 years.

Pete is survived by her husband Jimmy L. Langston of Lorena, Texas.

Brother Frank Fipps and wife Linda, Sister in law Linda Langston; Daughters are Lanette Page and husband Russell, Lisa Rousavall and husband Tony, Leann Lester and friend, Darrell Wallace Grandchildren are Elisha Oliver and husband Thad, William (Billy) Page and wife Laura, Matthew Page, Jeffrey Jones, Brandi Kirkpatrick and husband, David, Randi Stephenson and husband, Chris, Chance Ingalsbe and wife Patti, and Clay Lester; Great Grandchildren, Austin and Andrew Oliver, Charlie Ann Page and Presley Kay Page, Colton and Cameron Kirkpatrick, Shelby, Shawn and McKenzie Stephenson, Grayson Page 1 niece and several nephews and lots of close friends
