Marilyn Ione McLemore

Marilyn Ione McLemore, 82, of Waco, TX., passed away Saturday, February 3, 2024, after a short illness. Funeral services will be at 11:00am, Friday, 9, 2024 at Waco Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will be at Waco Memorial Park, followed by a reception.

She was born June 26th, 1941, in Waco TX, to Otho and Evelyn Hopkins. She was the 3rd of four children. She was work at the McLennan County Auditor’s office for over 25 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother, Neil.

She preceded her husband of 47 years, Glenn McLemore in death by just a few days.  He passed away February 7, 2024. 

She is survived by her daughter, Lea Ann Black – Dearing; sisters, Harriet Hall and Mary Combel; numerous nieces and nephews; and 4 stepchildren and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Richard Hopkins, Brian Nixon, Bill Guthrie, and Frank Craddock. 

She was well loved in life and will be greatly missed.
