Nevilee Maas

Nevilee Elsie Maas, age 92, a resident of West, Texas, passed away Tuesday afternoon after a lengthy illness.   Born in Burton, Texas to Gus Fritz Boeker and Ella Caroline (Makowski) Boeker, she lived in the Waco area for the past 73 1/2 years.   She married Lester Marvin Maas in 1947 and moved to Waco where she raised her family.   She was a member of St John's United Church of Christ in Robinson, Texas.   Mrs. Maas was preceded in death by her infant brother who died before she was born, her beloved husband, Lester, in 1996 and her son, Marshall Lynn Maas on November 3, 2019.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Neva Jane and Michael James Hyde Sr of Robinson, Texas; Grandson and his wife, Brent Allen & Kristy Stroud of Lacy Lakeview, Texas; Granddaughter and her husband, Jennifer Michelle & Tim Vancleave of Robinson, Texas; and Granddaughter, Andrea Dawn Dodd of Robinson, Texas.   She is also survived by 8 Great Grandchildren and 6 Great Great Grandchildren and a number of cousins.

The family will hold a Celebration of Nevilee's life at a later date.
