Patricia lived in Waco, Novato CA, Okinawa, Craig Air Force Base and Wiesbaden, Germany before her father retired from the U S Air Force and settled in Pensacola, FL.

She displayed musical interests and abilities from an early age and so her parents and teachers encouraged her talents. While living in Wiesbaden Germany she studied at the Opera School of the Wiesbaden Conservatory of Music.

After graduation from Pensacola High School in 1964, Patricia attended Pensacola Junior College and then Florida State University where she graduated with a master's in music in voice from Florida State University.

Patricia sang with the Atlanta Opera Company, North Carolina Opera Company, and other opera companies in South Florida before changing course to pursue a career in law. She received her law degree from the Shepard Broad Law Center of Nova Southeastern University.

Patricia began her legal career as a law clerk in both the federal Court system (United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida), and the state court system in Broward County (Ft. Ms. Wright was a board-certified attorney in State and Federal Government and Administrative Practice.

In Pensacola she worked for the State of Florida before retiring to practice law on her own handling cases in child services. Many clients have expressed gratitude for her help with the adoption process and other matters involving family law. She also was an instructor at Pensacola State College and the University of West Florida.

Patricia was an active member of the Pensacola Opera and served on the Board of Directors, and was a member of First Baptist Church in Pensacola, FL.
