Patsy O. Mason

Patsy (Pat) Lynnette Overton Mason left this earth and went to her heavenly home on Monday, July 15th. Pat was born to Louis Edwin Overton and Ludie Jaynes Overton on November 7, 1935, in Waco, Texas. She attended Waco area schools graduating from Waco High School in May 1953. On June 6, 1953, she married the love of her life, Warren Mason. To this happy marriage were born two children, Stan and Lynn. She loved being involved in all their activities, both in school and extracurricular. Then the grandchildren, Tim and Makenzie, entered her life to her great pleasure, followed by the great grandchildren. She loved being at home and one of her greatest pleasures was to have family and friends sitting around her kitchen table or on her patio laughing and talking. Her family was the joy of her life, and she cherished each member. Her patio gave her many happy hours of entertainment and bird watching in the back yard. Growing flowers and having a pretty yard were her favorite pastimes, second only to time with family. She was a member of Cogdell Memorial United Methodist Church for 50 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband Warren and daughter Lynn. She is survived by her son Stan, daughter-in-law Kathi, sister Claudell, grandchildren Tim Mason and his wife Debbie, Makenzie Williams and her husband Gavin, great grandchildren Callahan, Reverie, Josie, Layna and Ellie, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
