Pattie Voss

Pattie Holt Voss, 76, of Scurry, Texas passed away on March 01, 2019.

Funeral services will be held 12:00 PM, Saturday, March 16, 2019 in the Mausoleum Chapel at Waco Memorial Park, the family will be receiving visitors two hours before the service. Interment will follow at Waco Memorial Park.

Pattie was born December 10, 1942 to James and Opal Holt in Waco, Texas where she was raised. She married James L. Voss Sr. on September 23, 1958. Later Pattie and her family moved to Scurry in 1969.

Pattie worked for Freed’s Furniture in Dallas for over 30 years. At the age of 47 she received her GED and graduated with honors at TVCC in computer programming. She was a loving kind and compassionate wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She enjoyed helping the jail house ministries with her church, loves raising her baby calves on the farm and being with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, James; son, Elton Ray; daughter, Gwendolyn and daughter-in-law, Lisa Jan.

Those left to cherish her memories: son, James Jr.; brother, Aubrey Bradford and wife, Vilma; sister, Sue Lorenz; grandsons, Nathan and Elton Ray Jr.; granddaughters, Melissa, Jessica, Stephanie and Lisa Nicole; ten great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
