Richard William "Bill" Munk

Richard William Munk, Jr., born August 3, 1942, died April 7, 2025, at the age of 82 years old. Bill, as he was known by everyone, was born in San Antonio, Texas, to Richard William Munk and Eddie Inez (McClellan) Munk. Bill lived most of his life in Pleasanton, Texas, graduating from Pleasanton High School in 1960. On December 9, 1961, Bill married Cathy Copeland, and were married for 63 years.

Bill is survived by his wife, Cathy, three daughters, Robin Magan, Lori Cruz (Carlos) and Tracy Martin (Joseph), six grandchildren, Ryan Magan, Jenna Neal (Blake), Katie Hernandez (Israel), C.G. Cruz, Sebastiao Martin, and Lorien Martin; and five great grandchildren, Carter, Logan, James, Eli, and Ava.

Bill’s family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of Guadalupe Regional Medical Center for their superior care and support.
