Robert Edward Burnett

Robert Edward Burnett (Bob), 61, passed away June 5, 2023. A memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on July 8, 2023, at Waco Memorial Funeral Home, 6623 S IH 35, Robinson, Texas 76706. You are invited to share memories of your time with Bob. Reception following.

Bob was born August 8, 1961, in Waco, Texas, to Clarence Edward Burnett and Rita Carol Burnett. He grew up in Waco and graduated from Midway High School in 1979. After high school he attended Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos, where he received a degree in Business Administration, Major in Management. He began working in the door industry in 1997. Bob retired from Janus International as a Central Region Sales Manager / Commercial Division, where he received Commercial Salesmen of the Year in 2019 and again in 2022.

He married Roxanne in 1997 in Hewitt, and they were happily married for 26 years. Bob was a member of Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity and Crossroads Fellowship Church.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, spending time with his family, especially his two grandsons, niece, and nephew.

Bob was preceded in death by his beloved sister, Robin Burnett Roe, who passed away October 30, 2019.

He is survived by his loving wife, Roxanne Mincy Burnett; parents, C.E. and Rita Burnett; stepson, Christian Froberg and wife, Hailey; stepdaughter, Haley Edwards; grandsons, Wylie Aaron Froberg, and Porter Samis Froberg; mother-in-law, Kay Mincy; nephew, Spencer Shelburne and wife, Chelsea; niece, Mikaila Searcy and husband, Carson; great-niece, Blakley Grace Searcy; great-nephew, Rhett Henry Shelburne; aunt, Julie Hankins and husband, David; cousins, Elliott, Kristen, Evan, Halley and Leighton Hankins.
