Robert Martinez, 70, of Robinson, TX, went to the arms of Jesus on Tuesday evening. Born October 13, 1950 to Raymond and Sara (Ramirez) Martinez in Robstown, Texas, Robert was a welder and had worked at Allergan in Waco. Robert was a member of the Antioch Church and Waco Missions. He loved Baylor and was a die-hard Cowboys Fan. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Sara (Ramirez) Martinez and his brother, Raymond Martinez.
Robert is survived by his wife, Gloria Martinez of Robinson, Tx; his son and daughter-in-law, Robert Jr. and Melissa Martinez of Laredo, Tx, daughter and son-in-law, Denise and Albert Sustaita of Waco, Tx, daughter and son-in-law Beverly and Victor Valenzuela of Crowley, Tx, as well as 10 grandchildren. He is also survived by his 3 brothers, Ruben Martinez of Waco, Tx, Richard Salinas of McAllen, Tx and Adolph Munoz of Tyler, Tx; and his 5 sisters, Rita Regalado of Waco, Tx, Susie Martinez of Waco, Tx, Mary Lou Banda of Waco, Tx, Lupe Cooper of Fort Worth, Tx and Gloria Munoz of Marble Falls, Tx as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Monday, April 12, 2021 at Waco Memorial Mausoleum Chapel, 6623, S IH-35, Waco, TX 76706. Graveside Services will be conducted at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at Oakwood Cemetery, 2124 S 5th St, Waco, TX 76706. Pallbearers are Joshua Martinez, Jacob Martinez, Christopher Sustaita, Jonathan Sustaita, Nicholas Sustaita, Albert Sustaita, Jr, and Stephen Sustaita.
