Robert Nagel

Robert (Bob) L. Nagel, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on May 20, 2020. There he was reunited with his beloved wife of 39 years, Carole Nagel, who preceded him in death.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM, Tuesday, June 02, 2020 in the Mausoleum Chapel at Waco Memorial Park.

Bob was born July 26, 1933 in Hutchinson, Minnesota. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy on November 29, 1950. He served on the USS Tarawa (CV 40), earning two medals; National Defense Service Medal and the Navy Occupation Service Medal.

He lived with his wife, Carole for many years in Woodway, Texas. They moved to Kerrville, Texas after retirement. There, they were long time members of Southern Oaks Baptist Church.

Bob is survived by sons; Duane Laverty (Dawn) of Waco, Texas, Scott Nagel (Sandi) of Cypress, Texas; daughter, Linda Davis (Aaron) of Austin, Texas; grandchildren, Vincent and Elaina Nagel of Cypress, Texas.

He loved his Lord, he loved his country, he loved his family.
