Rose Reyes

Rose A. Garcia-Reyes passed away to the sadness of her family September 16, 2022. A visitation will be held from 5:00pm until 7:00pm, Thursday, September 22, 2022, at Waco Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel. A graveside service will be held at 11:00am, Friday, September 23, 2022, at Chapel Hill Memorial Park in Waco.

She was born September 5 in Waco, Texas to Dan and Janie Arechiga. In her younger years, Rose enjoyed a good dance and a cold beer. She also loved visiting with her grandchildren.

Rose married Eli Garcia on September 8, 1952, in Waco and they were happily married for 41 years. Soon after their marriage, Rapheal and Alfred were born, and 10 years later Kimberly completed the family. They loved their 3 children very much.

After being widowed for 19 years, Rose found love again and married Joe Reyes on March 5, 2012.

Rose was preceded in death by her first husband, Eli Garcia; second husband, Joe Reyes; parents; sisters, Aurora (Bebe), Flora, and Gloria; brothers, Robert and Danny; and great-great granddaughter, Triniti Grace Newton.

Rose is survived by her sons, Rapheal Garcia and wife, Linda and Alfred Garcia and wife, Cindy; daughter, Kimberly Torres and husband, Sam; granddaughters, Tracie Williams and husband, David, Crystal Garcia, Cheryl Irwin and husband, Brandon, Kelsey Gonzales-Neyra and husband, Jose, and Tiffany Anderson and husband, Matt;  great-grandchildren, Desiree Newton and husband, Darin, Merzaedez Ramirez, Eli Navejas, Charity Lyons, Kayla Irwin, David Williams, III, Faith Echols, Paxton Williams, Branson Irwin, Antalaya Houston, Victor Eli Neyra, Manu Neyra, Tomest Maskell, EllaRose Irwin, Juliette Anderson, and baby boy Neyra to be born in December; and great-great grandchildren, Liliana, Oliver, and Madilyn Newton.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Patricia, Lupe, and Leticia for all their love and support for Rose in her final years.
