Sarah Ann Offhaus

Phoenix

Ann Offhaus, 88, went to be with the Lord on November 8th, 2023 at her home in Phoenix, Arizona surrounded by loved ones.  Service will be 11:00 AM, Tuesday, November 21st, at her gravesite at Waco Memorial Park with Pastor Marvin Keown, from Grace Bible Church in Athens, Texas, officiating.

Ann was born August 12, 1935 to Virgil and Greta Springett in Quincy, Illinois. Ann graduated high school from La Grange High School in 1953. She later married Ronald Tweddale on February 11, 1955 and was married for 34 years until his passing in 1989. They had a son, Dennis and daughter, Kimberly. She later married Floyd Offhaus of Athens, Texas in 1995 and was married for 22 years until his passing in 2018. Ann then moved to Phoenix, Arizona with her daughter and son-in-law where she lived the remainder of her days.

Ann was an incredibly strong and loving wife, mother, sister and friend. She loved life and lived it fully. She enjoyed riding horses, traveling in her RV, singing and playing piano and organ at church , and riding motorcycles. Ann had a strong faith in Jesus Christ and valued her family and friends.

She will be dearly missed as she was loved by many.

Ann was preceded in death by husbands Ron Tweddale, Floyd Offhaus; brother, Jerry Springett; and her son, Dennis Tweddale.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly and Bill Laman of Phoenix, Arizona; her three grandsons, Blake and wife Gabby, Brandon and Bryce Whitney of Arizona; and brother, John Springett of Virginia & her faithful companion, Bliss 🐾

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Savior Hospice in Phoenix Arizona for providing such excellent care to Ann in her final days as well as many friends that loved and prayed for her.
