Stanley's formative years were shaped at GW Carver HS, where he cultivated lifelong friendships and laid the foundation for his future endeavors. Following his education, he embarked on a career at General Tire, where his diligent work ethic and commitment to excellence shone brightly. Later, he found his professional home at TP&L, where he dedicated over two decades of his life before retiring.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Stanley found solace and joy in the simplicity of life's pleasures. He had a profound enjoyment for hunting. His greatest joy came from spoiling his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his infant son, Stanley Jr., his beloved parents, his wife Priscilla, his daughter Avis, and his brother Gregory.
Stanley's memory will be in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. He is survived by his daughters, Dawn (Terry) Washington and Simona (Ramzies) Kazee; his grandchildren, Devin, Justyn, Kailyn, Joshua, Tiereney, Devaney, Jalen, and Jamal; his great-grandchildren; his sister Carolyn Smith; his brothers LT (Candy) Peoples, TA Jr. (Jocelyn), and Reginald (LaFondra); and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
