Steven Rocha

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Steven Rocha, who passed away peacefully, October 24, 2023, surrounded by his family. He was born on March 27, 1983, in Laredo, Texas. His journey led him to Waco in 2005, where he met his beloved wife, Maria Martinez. They shared countless joyful moments throughout their 18 years of marriage. He was not only a husband but an adoring father to his three children, Omar, Nathan, and DJ. Steven was a friend to many, known for lending a helping hand to those in need. His ability to connect with others and to make friends, was a testament to his kind and selfless nature.

Steven held close to his heart the memories of his mother, Ricarda Rocha and sister, Araceli Rocha, whose deaths preceded his.

He is survived by his wife, Maria Martinez; sons, Nathan Rocha, David Rodriguez, and Omarion Martinez; brother, Danny Rocha; nephew, Andrew Rocha; niece, Dyandra Rocha; and the rest of the Gaytan and Rocha family.

Visitation will be held from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Waco Memorial Funeral Home, 6623 S IH 35, in Waco, Friday, October 27, 2023.  Funeral services will be held at Victorious Life Church at 11:00am, Saturday, October 28, 2023, with burial to follow at Rosemound Cemetery in Waco.
