Tazle Garrett

Graveside services for Tazle LaRock Garrett, 96, of Waco will be held at 1 PM Thursday, December 30, 2021 at Chapel Hill Memorial Park..  Mrs. Garrett passed Wednesday, December 22, 2021 with family by her side.   She was born November 2, 1925, in Connerville, Oklahoma, the daughter of Alfred LaRock and Chassie Ellis LaRock. and was proud of her French/Native American culture. She enjoyed playing solitaire because she liked to be left alone. She loved the Texas Rangers and watching Wrestling. She was the eldest of 9 kids. She was affectionately known as Mawmaw by her 10 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.   She was preceded in death by her loving husband Willie Garrett, and their sons, Rodney Joe Garrett, Roger Turnbough and Jack Turnbough.

Survivors include her daughter, Ellen Folkner; son, Melvin and Coreen Garrett; ten grandchildren, Crystal Folkner, Amber Brentham, Renee Landers, Donnie Turnbough, Gary Turnbough, Michelle Turnbough, Juston Turnbough, Scott Turnbough, Misty Eve Duncan, and Rodney Joe Garrett.

She loved her family with all her heart.  She was always happy to be surrounded by them.
