Thomas Leet

Thomas Hanson Leet, age 72, a resident of Waco, Texas, passed away after a brief illness on Saturday, August 29th, 2020 at Hillcrest Hospital.  A Memorial Service will be held at 2:30 PM Sunday, September 20th, 2020 at Beacon Hill Baptist Church in Waco, Texas where Tom was a member.  Brother Reggie Blake officiating.   Private burial will be Tuesday, September 22nd at the Central Texas State Veteran's Cemetery in Killeen, Texas.

Tom was the middle child, born November 26th, 1947, in Lexington, Kentrucky, to William Dean Leet and Jacquelyne Martha Hickey Leet.  Tom married Rose Gray on May 8th, 1979.  To this marriage was born a son, David Thomas Leet.

In 1967, Tom joined the United States Army and served his country for 3 years stationed in Germany and Vietnam.  He was awarded the Bronze Star for Meritorious Service.  Tom was a faithful provider for his family and generously helped many others.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Kathy Landes.  He is survived by his son, David Leet of Waco; granddaughter, Lilin Leet of Hubbard; and sister, Vicki Leet of Lexington, Kentruky.
