Virginia Warren Faubion slipped away peacefully to be with the Lord, September 14, 2022. A graveside service will be held at 1:00pm, Tuesday, September 20, 2022 at Rosemound Cemetery, in Waco, followed by a celebration of her life at 3:00pm, at First Baptist Church of Lorena.
She was born July 28, 1923, in Hot Springs, Arkansas, to Frank and Thelma Irwin. Virginia was blessed to be the oldest in a large family of six, Jack Irwin, Lynn Irwin, Rose Irwin, Frankie Slade Hughes, and Dorothy Doherty. She loved her brothers and sisters dearly and has now passed the torch to her devoted sister, Dorothy, to be the matriarch of the family.
At twelve years old, Virginia accepted Jesus in the woods of Arkansas. In life, and now in glory she loved Jesus. It would be hard to pinpoint her favorite scripture or song because she loved them all. Jesus has been her constant companion, cornerstone, and comforter.
She was preceded in death by her two loving husbands, Gordon Andrew Warren and Driskill Faubion; eldest son, Michael Warren; and precious grandson, Little Mikey.
She is survived by her daughters, Donna Ybarra and husband, Jesse and Patricia Reynolds and husband, Albert; son, Gordon Warren and wife, Nancy; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
